Fresh Slice
As part of a design evaluation project for Fresh Slice Pizza, I created a suite of promotional materials spanning both digital and print media. The goal was to enhance brand visibility, modernize the company’s marketing assets, and ensure consistency across various customer touchpoints.
Understanding
As a student-led sports club rooted in Japanese tradition, SFU Kendo lacked a cohesive and modern visual identity that reflected both its heritage and affiliation with the university. The original logo was difficult to reproduce consistently across mediums and lacked symbolic depth. The goal was to design a logo that could serve as a versatile emblem for posters, apparel, and digital promotions while resonating with both current members and prospective newcomers.

Research
Fresh Slice’s existing promotional materials lacked cohesion across channels. The challenge was to design banners, posters, and social media assets that not only reflected the brand’s vibrant identity but also captured the attention of diverse audiences—from on-the-go students to families dining in. My focus was on establishing a bold, appetizing visual language that communicated value and freshness.

Design Decisions
-
Web Banners & Social Media Posts: Designed with bold imagery, concise copy, and clear calls to action for promotions and seasonal campaigns.
-
Advertisement Banners: Optimized for both digital display ads and in-store screens to maximize reach.
-
Posters & Flyers: Created print-ready layouts with clear information hierarchy and strong visual emphasis on food photography.
-
Established a consistent visual identity system across all formats to reinforce brand recognition.

The resulting campaign materials were versatile and adaptable across platforms, ensuring a seamless customer experience from online engagement to in-store interaction. Each asset was designed to maintain visual impact at varying scales, from handheld flyers to large display posters.
Prototypes
This project strengthened my skills in multi-channel design and taught me how to translate brand values into cohesive visual strategies. I gained practical experience balancing creative exploration with strict branding needs, while also refining my ability to produce both digital assets and print deliverables that drive engagement and sales.
